Snow Canyon State Park, Utah

In looking for a place to stay as we moved from Vegas and on our way to Zion National Park, I noticed a state park just north of Saint George, Utah.  I booked us a week there.  Little did we know how much we would love this park!

View from our campsite!

The little shelters were nice but made for a tight fit for RV's!

It was slow season at the park so we had most of it to ourselves with only a few other campers.

Petrified Sand Dune

I found a heart shaped rock!  How appropriate since this place stole out hearts!

Butterfly Rock

Relaxing after the climb up to this viewpoint!

This park has soft sand dunes too!

Lava Tube

It was very hot in the afternoons (100+ degrees) so we did our hiking in the mornings and relaxed in our RV with the AC going or ran errands until evening.  Then we would be out again to watch the sunset and the stars.  We had a pretty good meteor shower viewing on some nights!

If you're ever in the Saint George, UT area, this park is small but definitely worth a drive through.  It's beautiful!
