After our third waterski trip of the season to Lake Mead, it was time to go back to Apache Junction, Arizona to pick up our trailer from Above and Beyond RV Repair. We had them install 930 watts of solar panels, three Battle Born lithium batteries, and a 3000 watt inverter along with some minor changes to the trailer.

So far we are LOVING the addition of solar to our RV. It allows us to run the microwave, TV, my blow dryer, and charge up all our devices anytime without running a generator. We can even run our air conditioner for a few hours to cool down the rig on hot days!
After learning how to monitor the new solar system installed using apps on our cell phones we towed the trailer to Lost Dutchman State Park in Arizona for the weekend.
There was a good storm that passed through which made for dramatic views!
Next we're on our way north to Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah.
Putting in our Solar equipment and batteries was the best thing we have done for our self's. We love the peace and quite of not using the generator. We can just turn anything and everything with out the constant noise and air pollution.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for your new installs. Enjoy all that energy!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have gone solar!
ReplyDeleteWhat is next, selling extra energy back to the local utility? Ha Ha!
Enjoy having all that energy ... that is absolutely wonderful!
Lost Dutchman State Park looks pretty cool, especially with a thunderstorm as the background.
Hopefully you got to experience a few of those with some cooler temperatures during the monsoon season.
As always, thanks for posting for it is fun to see the sights with you!
Until next time ... thanks for letting me ride along!
