Lake Mead

After the North Rim, we headed back west again and stopped at our new favorite spot, Snow Canyon, UT for a night.

We spent another water ski weekend at Temple Bar on Lake Mead.  This time it was Bill, Maureen, Debra, and Al and me.  We had a great time skiing and really enjoyed Dave's ski.

On the ride home on Temple Bar road, we got a flat tire on the boat trailer.  The boys got the spare put on without too much trouble and we were on our way.  We'll deal with the tire replacement over the winter.

After the weekend, we put the boat and our camping gear in storage in Boulder City for the winter.  The boat got a good wash and wax first.  Then we picked up the RV which spent the weekend in a nice shady spot.

After getting the boat and camping gear stored, we were exhausted so we just went to Sam's Town in Vegas for two nights to regroup before heading east.

Now we're done zig zagging back and forth between national parks and the lake.  Water ski season is sadly over.  We're now making our way to TX.

A funny thing for me these past few weeks is that I never know what time it is because we keep crossing over the time zone line and the clock in the RV wasn't resetting properly.  Did my phone update properly?  Is the truck clock correct?  There were many conflicts between clocks!  Who knows what time it is and really does it matter now that we're retired?  😎😎
